Brief Description
Union Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, invites online applications for the recruitment of 250 Wealth Managers in the Specialist Officer segment. This role focuses on acquiring, nurturing, and strengthening relationships with High Net-worth Individual (HNI) clients by managing their financial needs and selling a range of investment and insurance products. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A full-time 2-year degree/course in MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDBM/PGPM/PGDM from a recognized University/Institution.
- Desirable: Certifications in NISM/IRDAI/NCFM/AMFI.
Experience & Age Limit
- Experience (as on 25/08/2025): Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a Wealth Management role with Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Broking Firms, or Asset Management Companies.
- Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025): Minimum 25 years and Maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.
Selection Process
Exam, GD & Interview
- The selection process may consist of an Online Examination, Group Discussion (GD), and/or a Personal Interview. The bank reserves the right to decide the modes of selection.
- Online Exam: If conducted, it will have two parts: Part I (Reasoning, English, Quant) and Part II (Professional Knowledge relevant to the post). There will be a penalty for wrong answers (0.25 marks).
- Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared based on the scores from the selection process (e.g., Online Exam and Interview with 80:20 weightage).

2. I have a part-time MBA degree. Am I eligible?
No, the notification specifically requires a full-time 2-year degree/course in MBA or equivalent (MMS/PGDBA/PGDBM etc.). Equivalent qualifications are not considered.
3. Is there a service bond for this position?
Yes, selected candidates must execute a Service Indemnity Bond to serve the Bank for a minimum of 3 years. The bond amount is ₹2,50,000 plus applicable taxes.
4. I have 4 years of experience, but it's not from a bank. Am I eligible?
Yes, you can be eligible if your experience is in a Wealth Management role from Broking Firms, Securities Firms, or Asset Management Companies, in addition to Public/Private/Foreign Banks.
5. Is there negative marking in the online examination?
Yes, if the online examination is conducted, there will be a penalty for wrong answers. For each incorrect answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
6. I am currently working in another bank. Do I need an NOC?
Yes, candidates serving in Government, quasi-Government offices, or Public Sector Undertakings (including other banks) are required to produce a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
